• Regional President, Senior Managing Director and the leader of MAI’s Marriottsville, Maryland office
• Joined MAI in 2021 following the acquisition of his firm, Geier Asset Management (“GAM”)
• Launched GAM in 2001 after working with Major League baseball players as a member of a large sports management firm
• Has developed and implemented investment and tax planning strategies to help his clients and their families achieve their financial, business, and philanthropic goals for over 30 years
• Has extensive experience working with professional athletes through each phase of their careers and into retirement

Life Outside of MAI 

• Member of the AICPA and MACPA
• Previously served on the Board of Trustees at Mount De Sales Academy for 10 years
• Supports several local charities and organizations, including The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation.
• A life-long resident of Maryland, Joe resides in Ellicott City with his wife
